Sunny Peachy Ginger Smoothie 薑味桃子鮮果思慕昔






I love adding ginger to my drinks and to my cooking. The benefits of consuming ginger are many, such as reducing inflammation, boosting your immune system, maintaining normal blood circulation, helping nausea or indigestion, and more. There are just so many good reasons to not leave it out of your diet. The fresh ginger gives the drink a little zing to pick you up, while blending perfectly with the sweet peach.


I didn't use any sugar or sweetener. Instead, I used fresh fruits to provide the sweetness. Hidden in this juice are broccoli stems--that's right, stems!--to add wholesome fibre. But trust me, you won't even taste them. They're just there to add even more nutrients and a little bit of sweetness (the desirable kind). Why throw those poor guys away? So next time you have broccoli, keep the stems. Here's the perfect way to use them!






Sunny Peachy Ginger Smoothie (2 servings)



2         peaches, peeled and cut into 6-8 wedges each

1         small apple, peeled, cored, and cut into medium chunks

1         broccoli stem

1/4 C   banana, sliced

1/2      lemon, peeled, seeded and halved

2 t       ginger, peeled and cut into small pieces

1 1/4 C coconut water

*t = tsp, C = cup

 



1. Trim the broccoli stems by cutting off the bottom and peeling off the outer rough part, then slice into pieces.

2. Throw everything in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy! *Since the apples in the smoothie oxidize very quickly, I recommend drinking it right away to avoid the discolouration!

我喜歡在菜或果汁裡面加些薑,它對我們身體的好處真的很多,像是幫助提高免疫系統、有助於噁心、消化不良、發炎、維持正常血液循環等其它功效。因為這個果汁裡有生薑,喝起來會感覺有點辣辣的,但和桃子口味融合在ㄧ起非常的恰當!我沒有在裡面放任何的糖,因爲加上其它水果已經有自然的甜味了,根本不需要。除此之外,這個果汁食譜的好處還包括使用我們ㄧ般不太喜歡吃的花椰菜梗,但請不要擔心,您絕對喝不出來,它只是在果汁裡多加些營養與ㄧ點點甜味,所以下次有多的花椰菜梗,千萬不要隨意丟棄,加在果汁裡是很好的辦法喔~




薑味桃子鮮果思慕昔 (2人份)



桃子        2 顆…每個去皮切成6-8片

小顆蘋果   1 顆…去皮切丁

花椰菜梗   1 個

香蕉        1/4 杯…切片

檸檬        半個…將皮與籽除去並切半

薑           2 小匙…去皮切小碎塊

椰子汁      1 1/4 杯



1. 將花椰菜梗底部較硬的部分切除、除去外皮並切小塊。

2. 將所有切好的食材放入果汁機內打細即可飲用!*因為果汁內有蘋果,較容易因氧化而變色,要儘快飲用喔~(*^▽^)/
